Administration
'Administration' valt niet samen met de betekenis van de Nederlandse term 'administratie'. Het kan afhankelijk van de context vertaald woorden als bestuur, regering, beheer, management, maar ook als ministerie of dienst. Zo is de 'Bush administration' de regering Bush en betreft 'financial administration' het financieel beheer. Het begrip wordt wel omschreven als 'het proces of de activiteit van het leiding geven aan een organizatie'. Meer specifiek gaat het om het besturen van de publieke zaak (compare 'Administratie' in the Dutch-English section). 'Administration' is not equivalent to the Dutch 'administratie'. The latter has a much more limited meaning and refers primarily to 'the record office', such as captured in 'financial administration'. 'Administration' has to be translated into Dutch debending on the context.
