Award for Concept Analysis in Political Science
Overview
The award is given every three years at the World Congress of the International Political Science Association (IPSA). The 8th C&M Award will be given to a scholarly work published between 1 January 2021 and 31 December 2023, and there are two categories, one book category, another for best journal article. The notion of “concept analysis” is to be understood broadly. It is intended to cover concept analysis, concept formation, and conceptual innovation as well as works of operationalization, measurement, data collection, and data analysis.
One copy of the nominated work should be sent to each of the three committee members by December 15, 2024. Please contact the RC01's vice-chair, Erica Simmons (essimmons@wisc.edu), to request their mailing addresses. Please indicate whether you are submitting an article or a book for consideration. Self-nominations are welcome.
